Order Fulfillment
If you have packages, products, or merchandise that needs any kind of expeditious delivery, the most ideal solution for many businesses can often be to have us provide order fulfillment in one of our secure warehouses. These warehouses are monitored twenty-four hours a day and we are ready to pick, pack, and immediately ship the items for delivery by one of our bonded couriers. We offer this service at varying levels of priority for more affordable but still extremely prompt delivery of your items.
We offer short and flexible timeframes and open-ended timeframes, from short contracts to using us for many years as a main distribution solution. We do weekly cycle counts along with yearly physical inventories to catch any issues or inaccuracies before they affect your customers or employees’ workflow. We receive all inbound items within an hour of signing for the packages so there is very little delay before your items are available to you.
On-Demand and Scheduled Delivery
If you need packages picked up at a moment’s notice, we are well-equipped to dispatch a driver to pick up at your location and deliver it with three service speeds: STAT, standard, and next day. For STAT deliveries, our first available driver will immediately go to the pickup location, and deliver the item as fast as possible. Standard service is still very prompt, usually within an hour or two of the STAT time. Next day service will have your item shipped as part of a delivery route for maximum savings while retaining impressive speed.
If your needs are more predictable, we commonly service companies that require regular scheduled delivery such as payroll companies. For contracts requiring hundreds or thousands of deliveries, we will hire new drivers and other staff to services your needs.
We are equipped with a technology dispatch system that allows us to manage our fleet more efficiently than other courier companies to help lower both delivery times and costs. It gives us the exact driver location/speed and has the means to show us when they fail to stop at a sign, speed, or otherwise do something irresponsible. Our dispatchers and customers can easily get estimates for pickups and deliveries and this assists us in rerouting drivers in case of accident or emergency.
Our dispatchers are available twenty-four hours a day, three hundred sixty-five days a year, without exception, and are able to receive calls to help with any questions or concerns. Our drivers are bonded and go through an extensive screening to ensure proper insurance and licensing.
Will Call
If you have items that are commonly needed by employees or technicians and don’t have the space (or want to stop paying for the space) to store these items or its otherwise inconvenient to carry every item along to a job site, as part of our warehousing service we can store a vast quantity of packages in our fulfillment centers to be picked up by one of your representatives.
When using this service, a PCL staff member will quickly retrieve your item or items from the warehouse and have the order ready and waiting for you, usually within minutes of placing the order for requests of only one or two items.
Accurate and Accessible Tracking
When you have any kind of order with us, you get a tracking number which can give you an estimated arrival time that’s usually accurate to within five or ten minutes, rather than simply getting a latest delivery time and leaving you to wonder and waste efforts being prepared for a package that won’t arrive for hours.
